Research and Expertise

The research carried out at the University of Bath covers a huge range of subjects in science, engineering, social science and the humanities.

The effectiveness of this research can be seen from the the fact that around 70 per cent of our academic staff work in departments that received 5* or 5 rating in the Research Assessment Exercise. The value of our research portfolio is £76 million.
