Overview
The MSc in Marketing is designed to build on previous knowledge of marketing, gained either through undergraduate studies or previous work experience. The programme:
- draws on the research interests of the marketing faculty and addresses the three core elements of marketing today: Marketing to Consumers; Marketing to Businesses and Organisations; and Marketing and Society
- deepens and advances understanding of core marketing theories and concepts
- balances theory with practical application
- systematically develops key business skills including group working, project management and presentation skills
- leverages the expertise of nationally and internationally recognised faculty.
Academic entry requirements
A good undergraduate degree (2:1 or above or its international equivalent) in a business/management or social science subject. Students without a first degree but who have an experiential background in marketing will also be considered.
English requirements
Candidates whose first language is not English will normally require an IELTS score of 7.0 with no less than 6.5 in each of the four components or a TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based test), 250 (computer-based test) (TWE: 4) or 100 (internet-based test).
