MRes in European Politics

Overview

This is one of a handful of Masters programmes that are fully recognised by the ESRC. It provides students with the required research skills and methodologies to allow them to undertake successfully a doctoral degree in European Politics. The breadth and depth of the skills provided are also designed so as to allow students to pursue a career, rather than a doctorate, in European Politics. The programme offers three different exit points which are certificate level, diploma level and the MRes or additionally the option to continue further studies to PhD level.

Academic entry requirements

At least a good second class honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, or relevant professional experience.

English requirements

IELTS 6.5 (with not less than 6.0 in each of the four components).
TOEFL 580 (paper-based test) or 237 (computer-based test) (TWE:4) or 92 (internet-based test) with not less than 21 in each of the components.
