MSc in Electrical Power Systems by Distance Learning

Qualifications and durations
Overview

This programme is the only one in the world in the field of Electrical Power Systems. It is suitable for professional engineers, including those already working in the industry and those who would like to enter the field. Key programme benefits are:

For MSc awards, students need the successful completion of 8 modules (2 core), 3 residential schools and a dissertation.

Academic entry requirements

UK first degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent). For nongraduates who have experience in the electrical industry, entry to the MSc programme is possible following the CPD route in the successful completion of both core modules.

English requirements

IELTS 6.5 (with not less than 6.0 in each of the four components).
TOEFL 580 (paper-based test) or 237 (computer-based test) with a score of not less than 4 in the TWE or 92 (internet-based test) with not less than 21 in each of the components.
