Overview
This postgraduate research programme is devoted to addressing the human dimensions of sustainability. It is intended for professionals and activists who are already quite knowledgeable about the current planetary predicament and who intend to make a contribution to creating a sustainable human society – one in which human activities are aligned with the ecological realities of the planet.
The next intake of the Postgraduate Programme in Action Research will draw on the theory and practice of action research to develop the human capacity – individual, organisational and cultural/political – to respond to the challenge of sustainability.
Academic entry requirements
Applicants will usually be graduates of an approved university. Non-graduates with relevant qualifications and experience may be admitted.
English requirements
Candidates whose first language is not English will normally require an IELTS score of 7.0 (with not less than 6.5 in each of the four components) or a TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based test), 250 (computer-based test) (TWE: 4) or 100 (internet-based test).
