Free Heathrow Airport Collection

'Meet & Greet' Bus Service

There will be a University bus service from Heathrow Airport direct to the University on during the arrivals week in September 2009 (dates to be confirmed). Our representatives will meet you at the University and take you directly to your residence. The journey will take approximately two and a half hours. Places are free but you must reserve a place.

Please note that you should arrive at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before departure.  Therefore, your arrival time at Heathrow should be at least 2 hours before the bus departure time to allow for luggage collection, visa, immigration and passport controls etc.

Saturday arrivals are recommended.

Who will meet me?

University helpers, wearing blue t-shirts, will be waiting to meet you at the “Meeting Point.” They will be available, at Terminal 3 in the “Arrivals” lounge.

Arriving at a different terminal?

It is possible to take a free airport train to the Terminal 3 “Meeting Point”, this will take approximately 10 minutes.

Luggage Allowance:

Space is extremely limited on the coaches. The luggage allowance per person is as follows:

If you bring more than this, you will not be allowed onto the coach and will have to travel to Bath by yourself.
