International Student's Christmas Party
On Tuesday 11 December the International Office held an International Students’ Christmas Party in the Claverton Rooms. The event was run by our excellent team of student helpers, and even Santa made an appearance.
The tables had been decked out with mince pies and cheese platters for the occasion. The students were also able to pick up their free glass of mulled wine or a glass of spiced non-alcoholic juice from the catering crew. The first game was a Christmas quiz, and the winning table received their well-deserved prices, wrapped up for the occasion.
The highlight of the evening was the surprising appearance of Santa, who had presents for each table, which consisted of a selection of delicious chocolates. The evening ended with the typical English game of “pass the parcel” which resulted in laughter and smiles from the students and student helpers, who joined in the game.
We hope that everyone will have a happy Christmas and a happy new year, and we look forward to seeing you again in January.
