The International Office
The International Office gives support and advice to all international students at the University and helps you have a happy and successful time in Bath.
Drop-in Advice
Email: international-student-advice@bath.ac.uk
The International Student Adviser (ISA), Rebecca Bruce, runs a confidential daily drop-in service, where students are welcome to come in to ask for information and advice on things like:
- immigration (visa extensions, work, travel abroad)
- cultural adaptation and homesickness
- employment regulations
- healthcare and support for the families of students
- anything else that is worrying you.
The International Office also organises social events and trips to places of interest throughout the year. News of events and trips is sent via the email list for international students. All new international students should be added to this email list - if you don't get emails from us please tell Rebecca (ISA) and we'll add you to the list.
Rebecca liaises with University departments to ensure that international students' needs and interests are met. Rebecca also co-ordinates a weekly Partner's Group, where the partners of international students can meet to learn about British culture and language and develop friendships.
The International Office produces InterCom - the online newsletter for International Students.
