Times of English courses
Most courses are 1.5 to 3 hours per week on Wednesday afternoons and some evenings.
I decided to study Informal spoken English and Seminar Skills because it was my first time in a completely Anglophone environment (I’m from Quebec which is francophone). All the English courses I’d taken before were focused on writing skills or businessrelated and didn't help to communicate in everyday life or even during classes. But at Bath I learned to understand the British accent, some really useful terms and expressions and even some slang! I really liked the fact that we were in small groups, always talking about diverse topics and always in a very friendly atmosphere. And I got to know people from everywhere. The course is a good choice because it gives you more confidence, not only during lectures and seminars but in everyday life as well.’
