Online Handbook 08/09
Paying Tuition Fees
You must pay tuition fees at registration. Registration for 2008/09 is entirely online.
Details of your tuition fee will have been included in your offer letter. Fees for all courses are also listed here
Online payments
You can pay online using a credit/debit card, or providing UK bank account details for direct debit.
Other ways of paying
By cash, cheque, bankers draft or direct
bank transfer.
- We strongly advise you not to pay in cash. It is not a good idea to carry big sums of money on your person.
- If you are paying by cheque or banker’s draft, post it to the University’s Cashiers Office, in plenty of time for it to reach us at the start of the academic year. Make them payable to ‘University of Bath’.
- If you are paying by direct bank transfer you will need to arrange for the money to be sent to the University’s account at least 10 days before the start of the academic year. The University’s bank details are available online at: www.bath.ac.uk/finance/cashiers/university-bank-account-.htm or contact the Student Finance Office. You will not be registered with the University until payment has been received.
Paying Fees by Installments
If you are funding yourself, you can pay your tuition fees in two equal Installments: the first installment at registration and the second at the beginning of the second semester.
Charges for Installments
By direct debit or debit card: no charge
Other methods of paying: £135 for fees of £7,500+
Note: you can’t use a credit card to pay by installments.
