What to do when you arrive at the University
September Induction
Please try to arrive on the weekend 20-21 September 2008 - there will be lots of students and staff around to help you. There will also be events designed to help you settle into your new home. We will post full details of these Freshers' events on our homepage.
Arriving at other times
If you have accepted a room on campus report to the Accommodation Services Centre at Westwood. If you have a room off campus report to the Accommodation Services Centre at Carpenter House (map and directions below) in the City. Once you have settled into your accommodation, visit the International Office (Wessex House 2.15) for advice about what to do next.
On-campus room allocations
Westwood Accommodation Services Centre
Open:
From mid-June to 1 October:
- Monday - Sunday 08:30-22:00.
After 1 October:
- Monday to Friday 08:30-22:00.
- Saturday 09:00-18:00.
- Sunday 12:00-20:00.
Off-campus room allocations
Carpenter House, Accommodation Services Centre, Broad Quay, Bath
Open: 09:00-midnight, 7 days a week.

Unexpected Late Arrivals
If you arrive unexpectedly late in the evening or early in the morning then you should go directly to the Security Office on Level 2 of Wessex House.
