If you need to store your belongings somewhere during the vacations, Safestore Spaces (Tel: 01225 448200) in Bath offer storage space. The normal cost is £19 per week for 16 ft2 (5m2) per week (including insurance up to £2,000), but Safestore does student discounts of 20%. The minimum storage period is one week, and they will collect at a special student rate.
Shipping
The International Office has information about shipping goods home and contact details for several shipping companies on their website; or visit the webpage of Excess Baggage Company (Tel: 0800 783 1085) who offer a 10% student discount. You can also search for other companies online – but get prices before choosing one.
