Research support & capacity building

The Pan-Bath and Swindon RDSU was established in 1996 in partnership with the University of Bath and a number of NHS Trusts in the area. The unit is able to provide expert research advice on research methodology and protocol development, research methodology training, support and collaboration in high quality research projects, as well as an NHS research management and governance information service. In addition, we offer many events and courses with affiliated organisations and a comprehensive list of information releases and publications is also available.

The Pan-Bath & Swindon Primary Care Research Consortium is a partnership between three primary care trusts and the School for Health, University of Bath.  The Consortium offers research management advice and answers queries from local primary care researchers relating to R&D approval, ethical approval, research governance issues and support funding.

RehabNET is an infrastructure and research support service for professional organisations and individuals interested in community rehabilitation. We are a membership led organisation supported by the University of Bath, local Primary Care Trusts and the Bath Research Development Support Unit.

The Research Hub is a new mechanism to promote effective research grant applications in the School for Health.
