The School carries out research and teaching in health, medicine, exercise and sport, making significant contributions to national and international health agendas.
In keeping with government initiatives surrounding population health and more general public concerns, the School divides its activities between two key areas: population health, comprising three research clusters of sport, health and exercise science, tobacco control and health inequalities and a second, healthcare, comprising leadership and change, mental health research and development, pain management, spondyloarthropathy and work, health and wellbeing.
Additionally, we offer a full time undergraduate programme in Sport and Exercise Science and part time, distance learning postgraduate programmes in:
