8. Research and development
The information presented in this section relates
to the University's research and development activities. It includes general
information describing the research interests of the University as well
as institutional policies relating to the conduct of research. It also
includes information relating to the University committees that work to
monitor and guide research activities at an institutional level.
This section does not include the actual results of or data resulting
from individual research projects. In some cases information that reveals
the identity of those involved in the research process maybe be exempt
from publication for health and safety reasons.
Information contained in committee minutes will be exempt from disclosure
where it falls into one or more of the categories described in section
4 of the general introduction to the publication scheme. The confirmed,
unreserved business committee minutes made available in this section are
those for the current academic year only: with effect from 2004/05 the
previous academic year's minutes will also be available.

otherwise specified.
