6. Information services

The information presented in this section relates to the ways in which the University collects, processes and utilises the various types of information required for its routine business. It includes descriptions of the information services provided by the University Library and Learning Centre and by University of Bath Computing Services (BUCS). It also includes policies governing how information is used and managed throughout the University.

The information available in this section does not include personal data relating to living individuals.

Information contained in committee minutes will be exempt from disclosure where it falls into one or more of the categories described in section 4 of the general introduction to the publication scheme. The confirmed, unreserved business committee minutes made available in this section are those for the current academic year only: with effect from 2004/05 the previous academic year's minutes will also be available.

All the information in this section is made available free of charge unless otherwise specified.
