Information for International students
The Department attracts a number of international students each year and these do very well on our courses. Each application is considered individually before an offer is made. We accept a very wide range of qualifications from other countries. Specific details of these cannot be given here but we are happy to answer individual enquiries.
The university has an International Office that is able to provide support and guidance to all those coming from abroad.
There are some Faculty of Science scholarships available to International fee paying students. These are limited in number and have a total value of around £3000. Unfortunately the Department is unable to offer any further financial assistance to International students.
A main focal point for information on scholarships and bursaries for Overseas study is the British Council. Contact your local office or see www.britishcouncil.org. They have details of most sponsorship schemes, though those for undergraduate study are limited in number.
